THC High Flow Valves

The chemical drum valve is available in two primary formats, re-usable re-fillable multi-trip and one trip. In addition these two formats are available with 2” BSP, 2” buttress and 2 ½” buttress thread options. All valves and couplers are available with 3 or 4 cam locking options, and can be specified with Viton, EPDM or Elastomer seals.

The 3 and 4 cam options is so that incompatible products cannot be processed through the same equipment. For example it is not desirable to put a total herbicide which will kill any vegetation through equipment used for processing say a plant growth regulator which is intended to control growth. All chemical valves are available with a dip tube and flexible foot piece.

Multi-Trip, Re-fillable, Reusable or Single Trip.

The multi-trip, re-fillable re-usable valve is engineered for many years life in excess of the mandatory UN requirements and has a documented history with a number of global chemical companies based in the USA, Europe, and Australia.

The single trip valve is produced to the same exacting requirements as the multi-trip valve and meets the UN requirements for the transportation of hazardous product. The specification of the materials of construction of the components results in a lower cost product making it commercially appropriate for “one trip” applications.

3 Cam or 4 Cam

The 3 or 4 cam options enable dedicated system connection so that incompatible products cannot be processed through the same equipment. Viton, EPDM or EM

Industry standard seals made from Viton, EPDM or TPE are available.

The THC products meet the requirements of the US Environment Protection Agency  Agricultural Worker Protection Standard 40 CFR Parts 156 & 170 and the  US Department of Transportation, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, UN Model Regulations on the transport of Dangerous Goods.

Texas Hybrid Component products have been tested for compliance with the UN regulations for the transportation of hazardous product and are also compliant with 2011 Environmental Protection Agency  FIFRA Container and Containment rule.
